At Elms Studio every student is an individual. Classes are tailored to their needs and a varied programme developed. This can include any of the traditional Performing Arts disciplines, acting, verse speaking, prose, mime, devising and public speaking.

Students are encouraged to explore a variety of genres from classic texts to modern playwrights, novelists and poets. Both traditional and multimedia elements are used to help students understand and appreciate these.

LAMDA and ESB examinations can be taken from pre-school age to adult in a variety of disciplines (please see the links to the LAMDA and ESB syllabuses for details) and at Level 3 provide UCAS points (further details via the UCAS link). However there is no requirement to take any examinations and lessons can be purely for personal development or simply for enjoyment.

Should students wish to, there are regular opportunities to perform at both Festivals of the Performing Arts and showcases.
